This Cookie Policy explains how BTB Education. and its affiliates, use cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our websites, including without limitation bitetheballot.co.uk, and any successor URLs, mobile or localised versions and related domains / sub-domains ("Websites") and/or our mobile application ("App") and / or our communication platform ("Platform"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website, mobile app or use an online platform. Cookies are widely used by online service providers to facilitate and help to make the interaction between users and websites, mobile apps and online platforms faster and easier, as well as to provide reporting information.

3. Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies on the App. Cookies are small bits of data we store on the device you use to access our services so we can recognize repeat users.
We use two cookies:
1. To provide a user session. When you first access the app, we create a cookie called “verto-token-prod”. This cookie is used to tie all of your answers together in the database, and to ensure you don’t lose your progress when you refresh the page. It does not let us identify you. If you choose to sign-in to BTB Education this cookie is associated with your identity in Auth0. We will seek your explicit permission before this happens.
2. To improve our services. The second cookie is called “verto-analytics-prod”. We use this cookie to measure your usage of the App and track referral data. This cookie is used by our analytics service that helps us to develop and improve our services and optimise the content we display to users.
